1. Automobile stamping parts are often complex and irregular, and accurate positioning, support and clamping are difficult;
2. The rigidity of automobile stamping parts is generally weak, and it is easy to cause errors due to deformation during the inspection process;
3. Except for a few small stamping parts, the size standard of stamping parts is generally placed in the body coordinate system for processing, except that many characteristic positions of the workpiece (such as holes, bosses, etc.) are compared with the distance between adjacent coordinate lines. In addition to the indications given in the figure, there are no dimensional values for most of the contours (especially random slopes). Today, the method of marking dimensions with coordinate grids, which was widely used in the 1980s, has been gradually replaced by CAD data information. The stamping parts, welding parts and even the CAD data of the car body supplied by the technical department can be used as the dimensional basis for the production of molds, welding fixtures and tooling fixtures.
